Upon leaving MHS in 1961, I
entered the world of work via private industry, then as a
civilian at Hq. USAF and the Small Business Administration,
finally completing a BS in elementary education at UT-Nashville.
During a very long interlude of a summer job, on the way to a
job teaching school, I have worked 35 years at Metropolitan
Development and Housing Agency. During those years, I also
completed the Master of Public Administration and have
pleasantly volunteered at Church, the Nashville Symphony, the
Nashville Literacy Council, and various other events, including
helping to begin the MHS Alumni Association.
